CNC Insert Production

TX-MF280 Fully Automatic Superhard Tool Grinder

TX-MF280 Fully Automatic Superhard Tool Grinder

General Specifications

A fully automatic tool grinder developed from the traditional heavy-duty tool grinder, for PCD, CBN, cermet and carbide tools. A robot loads the inserts, and a vision system closes the loop from clamping through inspection to grinding.

  • A built-in vision system corrects the angle and center offset of each clamped insert so its radius center always sits on the rotary-table axis; it also measures wheel wear and compensates in real time — fully automatic PCD insert production.
  • A special structure allows up to 270° of grinding in one pass, so wiper and full-radius grooving inserts can be produced automatically.
  • Genuine Japanese telecentric lens with a gigabit-Ethernet CCD camera: clamp, measure, grind and re-measure in a closed loop, to 0.003 mm.
  • Center-adjusting axes (X1, Y1) on the C table use precision ball screws and crossed-roller guides, with a pneumatic brake while grinding.
  • HT300 grey cast-iron bed, naturally aged for stability and vibration damping.
  • NACHI six-axis robot for loading along almost any path or angle.
