TX-DL400 Automatic Edge-Land Grinder
General Specifications
An automatic edge-land (negative chamfer) grinder built specifically for cylindrical and conical inserts. A dedicated, efficient machine that fully automates oil-drilling PDC cutters, coal-mining cutters, solid-CBN roll-turning inserts and similar.
- High-rigidity, naturally aged cast-iron bed — stable enough for grinding superhard tools.
- Fill-in-the-blanks control software written for edge-land grinding: enter the process parameters and the machine does the rest.
- Two clamping options to suit the insert shape — between centers with dedicated collets and a removable collet seat for conical inserts, or single-sided in a Schaublin W25 collet for cylindrical inserts.
- High-precision ruby probe measures insert thickness in real time and compensates the land automatically, keeping land size consistent even with wide thickness tolerances.
